Health & Safety Lead
Own and improve Health & Safety programs across BC, AB, and MI. Drive compliance, lead initiatives, and help build a strong, proactive safety culture in a collaborative team
The Opportunity
Are you passionate about creating safe, healthy work environments and taking ownership of programs that directly impact people’s well-being?
DeVry Greenhouses is seeking a Health & Safety Lead to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you will own and evolve our Health & Safety program across operations in BC, AB, and MI. This role is responsible for ensuring our workplaces are safe, compliant, and continuously improving – while also strengthening our focus on the “Health” side of Health & Safety, including prevention, well-being, and proactive initiatives. You will play a key role in maintaining our strong safety foundation (including COR certification), while identifying opportunities to elevate our programs, processes, and overall safety culture. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure safety is integrated into how we work – not just how we comply.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and takes full ownership. As part of the People & Culture team, this role contributes to team-wide initiatives and supports shared priorities in a highly collaborative environment.
